Miguel Gonzalez

President & Founder

    Miguel Gonzalez brings 14 years of public relations, political relations, marketing and development related communications experience to Catalyst Factor Agency. Mr. Gonzalez specializes in developing and implementing marketing strategies, and creating and executing communications plans. Gonzalez has solid experience in copywriting, web content development, video scriptwriting, media buys, production, executive messaging and crisis communications.

More recently, Gonzalez ran with great success the campaigns of Inland Empire officials, as well as was a key factor in fundraising efforts.

    Gonzalez, a former journalist, is an accomplished published newspaper and magazine writer who focused on sports, healthcare, Hispanic outreach, business news and progress features.

    Prior to founding Catalyst Factor, Gonzalez led the media relations and government affairs team at Frontier, a Home Builder 100 company and one of the top builders in California for three years.

    In the position of senior public relations manager, at Frontier Homes, he was responsible for leading the day-to-day public relations operations, and media events. His leadership helped to develop and disseminate the builder’s messages concerning several major public relations, development and charity events.

    In 2007, the builder’s marketing and PR team won two prestigious awards for categories including Web sites, and PR Campaigns. Gonzalez was instrumental in each award winning category.

    Gonzalez initiated many “firsts” as part of the builder’s focus on exceeding customer expectations. His innovative accomplishments include creating outreach programs, which promoted homeownership for minorities. He also initiated and managed research projects that proved essential to increase the sales of homes in the Victor Valley, Los Angeles County, Nevada and Arizona.

    One of his highest achievements during his tenure was creating a community outreach program to help many families get out of renting and into owning homes. The program became know as “My American Dream” and it directly affected over 400 families in said regional areas.

    Before joining Frontier Homes, Mr. Gonzalez was a senior reporter with the Victor Valley Daily Press, the Los Angeles Times and La Opinion newspaper. He was also a correspondent for AP news and the European wire service Agence France-Presse.

    Mr. Gonzalez is fluent in Spanish and is often quoted by newspapers as an expert in the growth of Hispanics in California and their marketing needs.

    A native of San Bernardino, Mr. Gonzalez received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from California State University, San Bernardino.
